Freeman Ankerman Partnership Limited is a vibrant architectural practice established over 125 years ago. The current Directors – Terry Freeman and Jeanette Ankerman – have been at the Practice for over 30 years and in partnership for some 25 years.
Both Directors have a wide range of experience in all aspects of works, from the design and technical aspects to project management and contract administration, and take an active part in all projects within the Practice, backed up by an experienced and enthusiastic drawing office consisting of fully qualified and Part II qualified Architects as well as Technical/CAD Assistants and Technicians.
From our experience, we understand the need for close collaboration and discussion with each member of the Project Team and Client, at all stages of the project from feasibility stage right through to site construction and handover.
Where a multi-discipline consultancy is required, FAP Architects can offer the full range of project services for both new-build and refurbishment construction projects in association with our approved Structural and Services engineers and Quantity Surveying consultancy services.

FAP Architects understand the importance of considering a project's environmental impact from the concept design stage. This approach looks at every stage of a building's life, from the existing site conditions, to design, construction and throughout the building's lifetime.
Recycling, reusing and reducing carbon footprint are critical factors in design solution success. We have a conscious approach to energy, the environment and ecological conservation and wherever possible FAP Architects look for design strategies to improve the sustainability of a building.
FAP Architects have ISO 14001 accreditation and we continually work to improve our commitments to sustainability.
